We are so excited to be moving the NTEB Bible Believers Bookstore to the beautiful and historic town of Palatka, Florida
For the better part of a year, we have searched and searched for a new location for our Bookstore, and every time we thought we had locked in on a place, upon further inspection it was not right for us. Today I am happy to officially announce that the Lord has indeed brought us to our new Bookstore home in Palatka, and it exceeds expectations on every level. It was built in 1865, and from the moment you walk through the door, you feel as if you’ve been carried away to a 19th-century bookstore.
“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.” Ephesians 3:20,21 (KJB)
We were faced with the twin challenges of rising costs and not enough space, and that limited the number of books we could carry in our inventory. Saint Augustine has been my home since 2012, but rising costs have made it a tough town to do business in. After much prayer, the Lord led us to the historic old town of Palatka, Florida, a place that in the 1940’s and ’50’s, was an old-fashioned, camp meeting-friendly, gospel hot spot. In the early 2000’s, like many other old towns, it was hit with urban blight and drug issues. But in 2024, Palatka is making a wonderful resurgence, and we are so thrilled to be a part of it! We will have a ‘soft opening’, Lord willing, on June 21st, and the grand opening in the middle of September.
BUILT IN 1865, THIS BEAUTIFUL OLD PALATKA FARMHOUSE WAS JUST WAITING FOR A CHRISTIAN BOOKSTORE TO COME ALONG, AT LEAST THAT’S HOW IT SEEMS TO US!
We have doubled our square footage, while at the same time lowering our monthly rent cost by over 30%, truly an answer to prayer! Tonight on the Bible study, we will go into more detail, plus share with your a very special announcement years in the making, so don’t miss it. When people ask for Bibles, we send them out at no charge. When people write in and say how much they would like gospel tracts but cannot afford them, we send them a box at no cost to them for either the tracts or the shipping, no matter where they are in the world. We have a Gospel Billboard program. We are now broadcasting Bible studies, Podcasts and a Sunday Service 5 times a week, thanks to your generous donations.
